Here comes last and my favourite part, Activities and entertainment.Whatever the event is I always try to look for some new ideas according to the occasion to create some fun.Google is always a big help then you can mould things according to your needs.Here are the few activities we did beside our traditional Shadi Songs with dhol. *Wish Cards: Words are the most beautiful way to capture a memory. We still have a guestbook from our wedding which was actually my husband's idea,This book is like a beautiful treasure of words for us. Even we used it after at the birth of our firstborn and on his first birthday. So I found a bit similar idea and made wish cards. I bought these cards from Dollarama(they were 40 in one pack), printed out titles on color paper,cut and pasted them.We told people to write a message inside and put it in the box, then at the end gifted that box to the Bride to be and I am so glad that she liked it so much that she is making it a part of the main Wedding event.🙂 *Photo Booth & Props: It is something always a hit. Some props I already had,Few I made with simple color cardboard and markers.I also created a few funny things like traditional sehra by attaching flower hangings to a hat.Options are endless so be creative and have fun 😇 *Karaoke Station: we set up karaoke station,This sing station is available on best buy and Amazon as well but actually you just need a mic to connect it with your laptop or a speaker and your sing station is ready.Karaoke songs are available on YouTube.Few of my friends are blessed with a beautiful voice and as it was a ladies-only gathering so we all enjoyed it comfortably.Thanks to my niece Ayesha who sent me "Guess the song" clips that they made for a wedding a few months back. It made everyone involved and sing & came out as a very joyous activity.At the end there were giveaways of organic Mint bunches for guests as we have whole Mint garden at our backyard 🙂 So hope you've got many ideas from my Dholki series and It will help many of you who are having an upcoming wedding in family.Don't forget to give your feedback 💕
