Reading Giveaway

When I think about my childhood winter.One joyous thing was to snuggle up in Lehaf and enjoy reading a story.When I wasn't able to read My Mom or brother read to me and I fell into it.I still feel the same joy when I see my kids enjoy reading or lost in my bedtime stories.

I came across this children book "Khizr's brave truth" written by a Pakistani Canadian author Injila wajih.The story is about a little boy Khizer who did something wrong for kind of a right innocent reason but then He felt and gather the courage to speak the truth. I like how Injila portrayed the Pakistani Muslim family and I must say our kids need more books like this to feel connected to our culture while learning about Moral values.

I read the story to Yahya and he felt so connected and enjoyed the journey till the end, he was mesmerized that there are other kids here like him who like Biryani and eat Salan roti .
